Hello Everyone

I just want to share a picture with you of the gloriously bright yellow “gas station” day lilies. I took this picture on a road trip through Ohio. As you can see this is  a mass planting, which really catches your eye.  The color and the flower are cheerfully stuck in the middle of all that concrete.  A perfect spot for a perennial (comes back every year) that needs no fertilizer or water once established.

Look through the last post on Easy Going Perennials to see how you can incorporate the Day Lily into your garden designs. They come in more colors than yellow! Oh yes they do!
